HILLER MOBILE DEWATERING PLANTS - a reliable decision

Hiller GmbH has a wide-ranging fleet of mobile pilot and test systems: there is a total of 20 different mobile plant types available, from DP15 to DP764.

With our fleet of mobile pilot and test plants, we are able to help our customers all around the world to subject new procedure concepts to practical testing, to acquire process data and to generate optimal solutions, all during continuous operation. Here our mobile dewatering decanters are applied for various separation tasks as for example sludge dewatering (municipal and industrial sludge) as well as for separation tasks in the food and beverage industry or pharmaceutical and chemical applications.

The plants are equipped with the latest technology so they can be optimally integrated into the process with minimal effort in just a few hours. One of the most important criteria here is to integrate the decanter as smoothly as possible into the existing process without disturbing it.

At the heart of these mobile plants is a Hiller decanter. Various system versions as well as all standard decanter sizes are available, all equipped with the latest technology and developed for a wide range of separation tasks and operating conditions – from waste disposal to food production or industrial applications according to ATEX. These are genuine production systems with technical specifications that cover performance levels from 0.2 m³/h to 120 m³/h.

 

Dewatering Decanters: Rental plants

Hiller rental plants are used in temporary dewatering projects where our customers are only looking for a solution for their solid/liquid separation task for a limited period of time. Here, too, we can offer the customer various machine designs and sizes with different throughput capacities, depending on the requirements. All our rental systems are state-of-the-art and can be integrated into the running process with minimal effort.

 

 

 

Dewatering Decanters: Trials

Tests with one of our mobile plants ensure that our customers can find the optimum solution for their process, providing safety and reliability. An average test takes between 1 and 2 weeks, construction and commissioning as well as selection of the optimal flocculant and optimization of the machine setting are inclusive services that ensure the best possible process for our customers. After the dewatering test the customer receives a comprehensive test report and naturally our engineers are available with advice and support for customers even after the test has been concluded. Other advantages of an on-site test with Hiller engineers naturally include proof of the guarantee values required for the process as well as the creation of a precise operating cost calculation.

New laboratory ensures optimized processing

Research and development are always the basis for the optimal solution of the tasks that our customers set us. High-quality laboratory work according to professionally recognized standards has always been of the highest importance for Hiller GmbH. The relocation of the laboratory to new, larger premises in the headquarters in Vilsbiburg was therefore an important and logical milestone.

Laboratory evaluations are usually at the beginning of every major sales project and also serve as initial contact with the customer, enabling the possibilities of our decanter technology to be evaluated. The laboratory analysis serves, for example, to assess whether a decanter is suitable for a separation process or not.

Staff courses and user training can now also be carried out in the Hiller laboratory and processes can be developed or optimised together with the customer. Even after machine acceptance, customers can send laboratory samples to Hiller. These evaluations form the basic framework for process optimisation, which in turn can reduce the customer’s operating costs.

In the new premises, up to four laboratory technicians can now carry out evaluations and analysis simultaneously. Thanks to the new equipment and optimized workflows, processing is now even more focused and time-saving.
