{"id":4818,"date":"2025-08-05T17:48:01","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T15:48:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress.p692779.webspaceconfig.de\/news\/cranswick-poultry\/"},"modified":"2025-11-11T13:12:03","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T12:12:03","slug":"cranswick-poultry","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.hillerzentri.de\/en\/news\/cranswick-poultry\/","title":{"rendered":"Boosting Wastewater Efficiency with HILLER DecaPress decanter centrifuge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry, a leading UK food producer, were looking for a new centrifuge to increase capacity and processing efficiency on the waste water treatment plant at their Yaxley production plant, they turned to the Hiller model DP45-422VAHYAC machine from MSE Hiller.<\/p>\n<p>Cranswick\u2019s old centrifuge system had become mechanically unreliable, difficult to maintain and was no longer able to keep up with the site\u2019s increasing production capacity requirements.<\/p>\n<p>The site which can handle over a million birds per week was originally built in 2019 and expanded at a cost of over \u00a378 million.<\/p>\n<p>The new centrifuge installation handles up to 10 t\/hr of the sludge generated from the waste water treatment at site which ensures that the numbers of tankers and cost of haulage for disposal from site are kept to a minimum and the water treatment plant ensures a cleaned water for discharge to the local sewage treatment plant.<\/p>\n<p>The centrifuge system was fitted with a fully automated stainless steel system control panel with auto wash facility, support stand, pipework, valves, flowmeters and a stainless steel slide valve to discharge the dewatered cake solids into trailers mounted below the unit.<\/p>\n<p>Cranswick Poultry\u2019s Engineering manager at the site, Mr Callum Boags commented: \u201cThe install was carried out to a very high standard and any issue I have had since the install has been delt with swiftly and with no issues. I can&#8217;t speak highly enough of MSE Hiller and the people I have come across so far.
