Mobile Plants & Trials
Hiller has an extensive fleet of mobile plants: over 20 different types are available, ranging from DP15 to DP764. With our fleet of mobile decanter centrifuges, we can support our customers anywhere in the world in testing new process concepts under continuous operation, collecting process data, and developing optimal solutions.
Our mobile dewatering and thickening decanters are used in a wide range of applications, such as sludge dewatering (municipal and industrial sludge), mining, the food industry, as well as the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
The units are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, allowing them to be integrated into existing processes quickly and efficiently, often within just a few hours. Our priority is to minimize any disruption to the customer’s ongoing operations.
At the heart of our mobile systems lies the Hiller decanter centrifuge. Various system configurations and all common decanter sizes are available for a wide range of separation tasks and operating conditions. These systems can be directly integrated into production or process lines. Throughput capacities range from 0.2 m³/h up to 120 m³/h.
Trial
Trials with one of our mobile units ensure that our customers find the optimal solution for their process, providing them with full assurance. A typical trial lasts around one to two weeks. Setup and commissioning, selection of the optimal flocculant, and optimization of the machine settings are included services that guarantee our customers the best possible process performance.
After the trial, the customer receives a detailed test report, and of course, our technicians remain available for support and advice even after the trial has been completed.
Additional advantages of on-site trials with a Hiller technician include the verification of the required process performance guarantees as well as the preparation of a precise operating cost analysis.

High-quality laboratory work according to professionally recognized standards has always been of utmost importance to Hiller. Laboratory analyses are usually conducted at the beginning of every major project and also serve as the first point of contact with the customer, allowing the capabilities of our decanter technology to be evaluated. The lab analyses help determine, for example, whether a decanter is suitable for a particular separation process.
At the Hiller laboratory, employee and user training can also be conducted, and processes can be developed or optimized in collaboration with the customer. After machine commissioning, customers can send samples to the Hiller laboratory. These analyses form the basis for process optimization measures, helping to reduce operating costs.
